pieces of dixie is built on the idea that we can create a life that feels true to us. A life shaped by curiosity, creativity, and the willingness to follow what pulls us forward, even when the path isn't clear.

What began as a pursuit of sourcing, restoring, and sharing vintage furniture became something much bigger. After stepping away from the corporate world, I took a chance on myself to explore a creative side of life I never imagined could become my work. That decision opened the door to a new way of living—one centered around making, creating, and finding meaning in the things that inspire us.

Today, pod serves as an outlet for that exploration. Furniture remains a part of the story, but so does art, design, sourcing, and the everyday practice of building a creative life. I'm still figuring out what it all means, still learning, still creating, and still following the things that spark curiosity.

My hope is that by sharing that journey, pod can inspire others to embrace their own creative instincts, take chances on themselves, and create a life that feels uniquely their own.
